Teletherapy
Shan’tel earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Utah State University. She takes a holistic and compassionate approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Throughout her career, Shan’tel has worked with clients in many different settings. She has led DBT groups for teens, co-facilitated grief and loss support groups, supported hospice patients and NOJOS clients, and helped individuals learn to better manage their anxiety and depression so they can live more fulfilling lives.
Shan’tel loves working with teens, young adults, and adults. She has a special passion for helping people navigate anxiety and anxiety-related disorders. She strives to create a space where her clients can feel supported and empowered. One of her favorite quotes is, “Today is a beautiful day to do hard things!” (Kimberly Quinlan, LMFT).
Outside of her work as a therapist, Shan’tel enjoys reading, fun music, nature, and laughing as often as possible.
