Mariah Hyer
MSW-I
Available in the Provo Office and over Teletherapy
Mariah is compassionate, kind, and is always trying to encourage and support those around her. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University and is currently attending Western New Mexico University's Master of Social Work program to better learn how to encourage and support in a way that pushes people to reach their goals.
From growing up in Alaska to living in Spain for 2 years, she has met a wide range of people and has seen what it means to sit with them in their struggles. This has grown into a desire to meet people where they are and to help them get to where they want to be. She feels that no one should be alone in their struggles and that there's always a path to personal happiness.
In her free time, she loves reading, going to the movies, and hanging out with her spouse. She also loves working with kids and teens, and is always on the lookout for volunteer opportunities in her area.
