Sandi has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 20 years. She got her start at Idaho State University, where she received an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She then attended Boise State University to receive her Master’s degree in Social Work. Since then, Sandi has worked in various settings including a juvenile detention center, developmental disabilities agency, inpatient psychiatric hospital, family health clinic, and most recently at an elementary school.
Sandi has worked with all ages, but her specialty is working with children and adolescents. She loves to teach, support, and encourage children to become the best versions of themselves. Sandi believes that building positive relationships is the key to successful therapy. Sandi utilizes various techniques during counseling sessions, including Play Therapy, Art Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness, Solutions Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and many more.
Sandi is the proud mother of two amazing daughters, one fabulous son-in-law, and is “grandma” to the two cutest Corgis! In her spare time she loves all things crafting, being with her family, taking long drives with her husband, listening to good music, and discovering new places and treasures.
