Available over Teletherapy
Bethany’s career in social work began while working at an inpatient treatment facility for adolescents during her undergraduate program. She gained experience working with youth struggling with depression, anxiety, behavioral and sexual misconduct. She also has experience working with child welfare, outpatient treatment, and teaching at a university. Bethany earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in Social Work and her master’s degree from the University of Southern California in Social Work.
Bethany embraces the idea that through effective therapy and one’s willingness and desire to grow – you can find creative and meaningful solutions to life’s challenges. Therapy provides a safe, empowering space for you to take control of your life, express emotion, change family dynamics, challenge limiting beliefs, and look forward to creating a future with joy, appreciation, and value.
Bethany is experienced in working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. Bethany is passionate about helping clients with a variety of issues; including women’s issues, couples issues, and life transitions. She utilizes trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion focused therapy, solution focused therapy, and techniques from dialectical behavioral therapy to create a safe, non-judgmental, and self-reflective space for couples and individuals to work through life’s challenges. In her downtime, Bethany enjoys spending time with her two children, and dog. She loves watching reruns of her favorite shows, hiking, reading, and taking naps.
