Aspen Counseling Services values the importance of your time and money. Kristina Holley, LCSW

Kristina received a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Utah in Family and Consumer Studies with a minor in Psychology. She also received a Masters Degree from Brigham Young University in Social Work. Kristina worked at an inpatient facility for over six years. She also spent years working with clients in an outpatient setting. Kristina has supervised therapists focusing on children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a vast majority of issues including: divorce, anger management, female adolescent issues, conduct disorder, appropriate boundaries, sexual abuse and social skills to name a few. She has developed and written Behavior Management Contracts for adolescents who are physically and/or verbally assaultive. Kristina uses CBT, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing and other treatment modalities when working with her clients. Kristina’s primary focus is working with high risk adolescent girls and the issues they face including depression, self-esteem, anger management, poor coping skills, defiance, social skills, reactive attachment, family relationships, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys attending her kids’ soccer games, basketball games, dance recitals and gymnastics meets with her husband. She also loves running and running her kids around. Joseph received a Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University in Psychology. He also received a Masters Degree from the University of Phoenix in Counseling. Joseph has worked with a vast therapeutic population including high-risk children and adolescents and victims of sexual and domestic violence trauma. Working at the Children's Justice Center and the Family Support and Treatment Center has allowed Joseph to specialize in working with adolescent female and male clients that need help recovering from personal trauma, including depression, anxiety, peer influence, defiance, ODD, and self-esteem issues. He also has extensive experience working with drug, alcohol and pornography addictions. Joseph has been responsible for helping develop and implement Transition to Adult Living Programs for the State of Utah and The Band of Brothers for the Children’s Justice Center. He is also certified to teach the child abuse prevention program Good-Touch/ Bad-Touch. Joseph uses a Client Centered Approach where he is able to use different theories and forms of philosophy to meet the need of a client. Joseph has a broad sense of cultural sensitivity and is also fluent in Spanish. Joseph works with a variety of ages including: children, adolescents, and adults. Tim received a Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University in Psychology. He also received his Masters Degree from University of Phoenix in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Working at the Division of Child and Family Services and Wasatch Mental Health has given Tim extensive experience working with at-risk adolescents dealing with emotional stability issues, anxiety, depression, defiance, self-harm, self-esteem, and eating disorders. Tim is the Chairman of the Summit County Domestic Violence Coalition and has additional experience working with domestic violence survivors and abusers; he is also a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association. Tim also has experience teaching parenting classes and support groups and is an advocate for the role of parents in the lives of their children. Tim primarily uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Psychosis Treatment, and other evidenced based treatments. Tim works with a variety of ages including children, adolescents, and adults. Lindsay Adams, CSW
* Will be accepting new clients in August. Lindsay received her Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Utah in Exercise and Sport Science. She then received her Masters Degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Social Work. Lindsay has experience working in a Domestic Violence Shelter for over two years. She also has spent two years working with Substance Abuse and other Mental Health Issues in an outpatient setting. Lindsay has experience working with a variety of topics such as female adolescent issues, substance abuse, trauma, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and anger management to name a few. Lindsay is dedicated to helping others live a happy, healthy, fulfilling life through education, insight, and change. Lindsay uses a variety of evidence-based interventions including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. The treatment modalities Lindsay utilizes are always tailored to her clients' individual needs. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dogs. She also enjoys reading, trying new recipes, and riding ATVs.
Nancy received a Bachelors Degree from Utah Valley University in Behavioral Science (Psychology). She also received her Masters Degree from the University of Utah in Social Work. Nancy has worked with justice departments, religious organizations, the Department of Child and Family Services, as well as other agencies. She has experience as a pediatric nurse in Sweden; working with premature babies, disabled children, pregnant teenagers, and terminally ill patients. Nancy is a certified Jungian Sand Therapist and is also a supervisor for MSW, BSW, and LSAC students. She has a Degree in Home Economics and Child Development and speaks fluent Swedish. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Experiential Therapy, Sand Therapy, Play Therapy and Art Therapy. Nancy works with a variety of ages including: children, adolescents, and adults. Nancy specializes in adoption issues, anxiety, depression infertility counseling, marriage counseling, parenting counseling, and trauma.
