Lindsay received her Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Utah in Exercise and Sport Science, and her Master's Degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Social Work. She has experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings while working at a local Domestic Violence Shelter a substance abuse recovery center, and a foster care agency. Lindsay enjoys working at a foster agency helping children and adolescents reconnect with their families, improve and enrich their personal lives, and develop coping skills to become better able individuals as they mature into adulthood. She especially enjoys working with adolescent females striving to overcome issues of self-esteem, self-harm, oppositional defiance disorder (ODD), reactive attachment disorder (RAD), trauma, depression, and anxiety. She is also very experienced in working with children who have been victims of sexual abuse. Lindsay also enjoys working with adults with substance abuse, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, and trauma; helping individuals recognize and overcome their personal road-blocks to achieve a greater sense of self and fulfillment in their relationships. She is dedicated to helping her clients live a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life through building a trusting and supportive relationship, providing insight, and transformation. Lindsay tailors her treatment modalities to fit her clients’ needs, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, and Acceptance and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), among others. Lindsay is a certified Level 1, 2 and 3 affiliate for the Network on Juveniles Offending Sexually (NOJOS). Lindsay is down-to-earth and chooses to live her life whole-heartedly, she loves spending time with family, friends, and her dogs. She enjoys playing Bunko, camping and boating, yoga, reading, and trying new recipes on her BBQ smoker like smoked pizza!
